Search mode This mode is designed to detect electromagnetic radiation sources. In this mode, the device receives radio signals, detects them and outputs on the built-in display and as an audio signal for headphones and the built-in speaker, the vf state of the radiation is heard. The signal level is indicated at two 32-segment level meters on the display. Adjacent segments lit up the average value of the signal level detected, while one ignited part shows its maximum value. The device can measure current frequency values from a radio signal and determine its most stable value (for signals with a constant carrier frequency). The device also displays detection of GSM, DECT, Bluetooth, and 802.11g (WLAN, WiFi) signals.

Tracking Mode Monitoring mode is designed to detect electromagnetic radiation sources and store data in NVRAM. The maximum number of events that can be stored in NVRAM is 4096. Events can be viewed when the detector is in Log View mode. The monitoring mode has an extended range of alarm signals that can be triggered if the signal passes a certain level or frequency threshold or if a certain type of signal is detected (GSM, DECT, Bluetooth, 802.11). It is possible for the user to schedule for on and off.

This mode has two basic operations:

• User control traffic and is positioned to be visible to users. This is useful for detecting devices for unauthorized information acquisition among visitors to the office, for example.
