The portable pulse detector of nonlinear transitions is the fourth generation in the NR-900 series. The device allows comparison of the level of the second and third harmonic reflected signals from the semiconductor transition. The operator can control the entire detector using a keyboard with ergonomically positioned controls. This keyboard contains an LCD display that provides a lot of very important information: displaying the level of the reflected signal of the second and third harmonicgraphically (filling in the characters) and numerically (dimensionless), the difference between the second and third harmonics, where, according to the sign and the size of this difference, it is possible to identify the semiconductor transition and the amount of auxiliary data, such as battery voltage, selected transmission power or the level of muted receiving part. The detector has output for stereo headphones, to which various sounds are signaled the following states: increasing tone with increasing levels of appropriate harmonic, exceeding the range selected harmonic, difference harmonious higher than +20 dB and decrease in battery voltage.
