By its very description, the Hybrid Active system is active in operation but does not use any direct connection to the real networks, does not use any call cost diversion, and critically does not use any illegal system that switches off encryption. In short, it uses all the controls of a fully active system with all the invisibility of a passive system.

The Hybrid Active system will allow complete intercept of 2 way voice and sms messages in all networks, A5/1, A5/2 and of course A5/0. Until recently this was only possible with fully active systems which would only allow outgoing calls, would divert the call charges, not show the CallerID and would switch off encryption. It is possible to block all incoming and outgoing calls and sms messages, thus jamming the target.

It is possible to jam ALL handsets captured in the system in random mode, thus making an effective communication jammer or even bomb jammer.

It is possible to use the system in totally mobile as well as static mode and also network multiple systems together.

In conclusion the Hybrid Active system has dropped all the disadvantages of the old active systems and gained all the controls and invisibility that have been long required by all Law Enforcement Agencies around the globe.
