Advanced Advertising Sender (AAS) is a portable system designed to send SMS messages and data to GSM phones in pre- defined territory. Unlike existing advertising systems, 

AAS sends a normal or flash SMS instead of posting messages (receiving broadcast messages can turn off the user's mobile phone); 

AAS is an independent standalone system that requires no cooperation with mobile operators.

The AAS does not use mobile phone numbers, therefore there is no need in the list of phone numbers to be obtained from different sources. These lists are often incomplete, outdated, irrelevant and costly. 

The AAS may be used for commercial or security purposes: 

Send commercial ads, announcements, free gift coupons, useful information, or welcome messages in certain places: shopping areas, banks, restaurants, train or bus stations, exhibitions, tours etc.
