The JA-188J button is designed for wireless activation of an emergency alarm. It can also be used as a security system controller, or to control devices and appliances via PG outputs.

It contains a tamper contact and monitors the state of discharge of the battery. The system's response to a button press is optional. The basic response is an emergency alarm or protection on / off (optional). Other responses to button presses can be set directly in the control panel in Service mode.
