A brief description of the functions and features:

The device combines a regular GPS receiver with a Bluetooth interface with a GPS data recorder (called an offline GPS logger). Attention deserves to be merged by the two devices into a single measuring 77 × 46 × 23 mm and a weight of 65 grams. The recorder stores the parameters of the route being navigated fully autonomously in the internal memory with 250,000 records, which must be connected to any computer when working. This is possible due to the fact that the module has integrated in addition to the GPS receiver also electronics, which will take care to record data in the internal memory. The data stored in the answering machine is not used, but only until you load it into your PC through the MiniUSB interface. Here you can convert them to several widely used NMEA or KML formats. You can also use so-called raw (RAW) data, or supplied DLL interface to integrate the answering machine into your own software project. Documentation for developers is also available.

To use and work with the device:

The device is controlled with three buttons. These are used to turn the device on/off, activate/deactivate the Bluetooth GPS function of the receiver, control the volume of audio messages, and add tags to the route record.

Gps signal reception as well as other functions are indicated by audio messages that can be customized freely (to upload any WAV file in the correct format). Therefore, the device will tell you the loss of gps signal by saying, for example: 'GPS signal loss'. The device is capable of operating in several modes and part of the functions is adjustable only by the supplied software. For example, using a motion sensor, adjusting the frequency, and selecting a recording mode.

When the motion sensor function is activated, the device enters standby mode when no movement is detected. On the contrary, any movement activates the device and ensures the rapid search of satellites. However, this mode is not suitable for navigation purposes (Bluetooth GPS receiver), but extends battery life for up to one week when recording a route.
